The Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club of Columbia, South Carolina was founded on the principals to preserve the rich history and honor of the Buffalo Soldiers, by sharing their legacy within the communities we live and work in. This Chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club exist to continue the tradition of service to the nation as established by our Military ancestors.
We are a non-profit organization, comprised of veteran and retired military and other professional men and women, dedicated to the sport of motorcycle riding and safety. Our motorcycles (Iron Horses) represent the horses ridden by the Buffalo Soldiers during the 1800’s. We are committed to projecting a positive image of ourselves as bikers by always showing respect for each other and the community-at-large. We do not claim area or territory and are active in our communities and are constantly striving to educate those that are unfamiliar with the sacrifices and hardships of the Buffalo Soldiers of the 9th and 10th U.S. Cavalries. We hope to instill this knowledge into the minds of Americans and provide a positive role model for our youth, so that we can motivate them to become better citizens and future leaders.
We hope that by doing the things that we do that the legacy of the Buffalo Soldiers of the past will live forever and not be forgotten. The Buffalo Soldiers are part of our African American Heritage, and we wear our Colors with pride.
